Being a security officer is a job that poses some risks. Without warning, you may find yourself chasing a suspect over uneven terrain or perhaps even wrestling with someone who is trying to evade you. This means that you may find yourself injured at some point in your career and physically unable to work a regular patrol shift for a period of time. One of the nice things about working in this field is that even if you're not up for a patrol, there are still several security jobs that you can fulfill for your security company.
